Lab video named a top intervention to address toxic polarization

Intervention co-developed by Dr. Pasek led the pack in the Strengthening Democracy Challenge

A video intervention co-developed by Dr. Pasek, in collaboration with Dr. Samantha Moore-Berg, Dr. Rebecca Littman, Dr. Nour Kteily, and Roman Gallardo, was named one of the top performing interventions in Stanford University's Strengthening Democracy Challenge! The video was the most effective intervention (of 25 tested and over 250 submitted) at reducing support for partisan violence in the United States. It was also one of only three interventions that significantly reduced all three outcomes, also including support for anti-democratic behaviors and partisan animosity.
